Purpose Of Funds
New Dramatists seeks support to sustain and expand the Playwrights Lab, our writer-driven series of readings and workshops. In the Lab, we serve a diverse company of 50 resident playwrights; over 450 actors, directors, and other collaborating artists; and a public audience of over 4,000 New York City residents each year. Because work created and/or developed at New Dramatists goes on to production within New York City, across the country, and around the globe, we also reach a downstream audience that numbers in the tens of thousands.
