Purpose Of Funds
During these turbulent times the demand for our services is ever increasing, more and more people rely on us for both financial and emotional relief. The majority of WHIPRC-JCC clients are low income, non-English speaking immigrants, vulnerable elderly, and the working poor. The City Council funding has been going towards our Social Adult Day Care program, the immigrant resettlement program, and food/nutrition services. The Social Adult Day (SADC) Program is conducted weekly, benefiting 12 seniors suffering from cognitive deficiencies and memory loss who are no longer able to attend traditional senior centers.
