Field Survey Findings
Average to High underground interference from existing utilities.
Average to high make-ready requirements. Of the sample poles surveyed 50% required make-ready, and 33% required pole replacement.
General findings for this area include; the presence of call boxes and low voltage wires on pole lines, poles with power attachment removed leaving only the telecom space remaining, and spacing issues with current utility attachments in the telecom space.
Additionally, some locations had power service drops and telecom service drops crossing in the same space without proper clearance between the two.
